One example of this commitment is our substrate and compact reclaim program, which reduces waste while also protecting the intellectual property of our customers.

Our Information Management System (IMS) addresses the needs of all parties interested in our operation. It controls manufacturing and support operations associated with the production and sale of photomask products and services. It expresses our desire to achieve the highest level of operating and financial performance possible for our financial stakeholders. We intend to provide all products and services to customers in a way that maximizes their value. We also strive for continual improvement in performance related to employee health and safety, our impact on the environment and our social responsibility. We strive to be a good corporate citizen and fully comply with the laws, regulations and community practices in each of our locations.

We are aligned with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment; and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), a European Union regulation that addresses the production and use of chemical substances and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. All of our global locations are compliant with these initiatives.

We are a user of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) online systems and engage in trading relationships with our customers (RBA members) as the opportunities arise. RBA, a nonprofit composed of electronics, retail, auto and toy companies committed to supporting the rights and wellbeing of workers and communities worldwide affected by global supply chains. RBA members and RBA users commit to and are held accountable to a common Code of Conduct and utilize a range of RBA training and assessment tools to support continuous improvement in the social, environmental and ethical responsibility of their supply chains. Frank Lee, Ph.D.

CEO

In May 2022, Dr. Frank Lee assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and joined the company’s Board of Directors. In March of the same year, before assuming the CEO position, he was appointed President. Prior to joining Photronics in 2006, he was CEO of NSMC. His career also included roles at Fairchild Semiconductor, Intel and Soliconix. He was Vice President of Operations at Texas Instruments-Acer (a TI/Acer joint venture) in Taiwan and has also held leadership positions at TSMC-Acer and UMC, both in Taiwan. His ability to lead the organization through its next phase of growth is based on his proven track record in all the positions he has successfully held. Dr. Lee holds a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Tsinghua University and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Cincinnati.

Mr. Rivera joined Photronics in 2016 as corporate controller and has served as chief accounting officer since 2020. Mr. Rivera has 24 years of experience and held several positions in accounting and financial reporting prior to joining Photronics, including at IBM and Thomson Reuters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mercy College and is a certified public accountant.

Christopher J. Lutzo

Chris joined Photronics in November 2024 as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He brings over 15 years of experience in commercial, transactional, corporate, securities and compliance practice areas across diverse and stringently regulated industries. He was most recently employed at Crane Company, a manufacturer of highly engineered instruments, controls and systems in the process flow and aerospace industries in Stamford, CT.

Chris holds his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.

Christopher J. Progler, Ph.D.

Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Strategic Planning

Chris was promoted to his current role in 2019 after joining the company in 2000. He is responsible for strategic planning and technology development as Photronics enters new markets or develops new processes to support customers’ technology roadmaps. Chris is a recognized expert in the industry, with more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Photronics, he was a leader in the technical organization for IBM.

Chris holds a B.S. in optics from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas.

Dennic Hu

Vice President, Global Supply Chain

Dennic joined Photronics in 2019, leading the global supply-chain organization responsible for procurement, capital investment and asset management. Dennic brings over 25 years of progressively responsible supply chain leadership experience in the semiconductor space. He was most recently with TaiFlex Scientific as Vice President of Supply Chain.

Dennic holds an MBA from National Chiao Tung University and a B.S. in nuclear engineering from National Tsing Hua University, both in Taiwan.

David Wang

SVP, COO of Asia IC and US/EU Mainstream Operations

In 1989, as the semiconductor industry began to take off, David joined Taiwan Mask Corporation (TMC), a photomask-related industry. After nine years at TMC, he joined PDMC (Photronics DNP Mask Corporation). From 2000 to 2003, Wang served as the General Manager of Photronics Singapore, and from 2007 to 2010, he was the General Manager of Photronics Shanghai. David participated in the expansion of the Taichung plant in 2009, the merger with Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) in 2014, and the establishment and operational integration of Xiamen Photomask Corporation (PDMCX) in 2016. Taiwan Photomask and Xiamen Photomask are now the largest commercial semiconductor photomask manufacturing bases in the world. David, who is currently the COO of PDMC and the General Manager of PDMC Xiamen, graduated National United University in Taiwan, with a B.S. in Department of Industrial Engineering and Management.

HK Park

Senior Vice President, General Manager of FPD

From 1995-2004, Han Kyung (HK) Park worked at Amkor Technology, Inc. (previously known as ANAM Industrial Co. Ltd., Korea’s first semiconductor company) in Strategic Planning and Supply Chain Management. During Park’s tenure, ANAM merged with Amkor Technology, Inc., a publicly traded company in the US. Park started his career at Photronics in 2004, where he assumed the role of Strategic Planning Team Manager at PKL in Korea. In 2005, he became the Administration and Sales Division Director and Site Director at PKLT in Taiwan; and in 2019, he was appointed President of Photronics Hefei (China). Park, a graduate of Kyungpook National University in Korea, was promoted to General Manager of Photronics FPD Operations in 2023.

Debbie Wierzbicki

Senior Vice President, US/EU Mainstream Operations & Global Production Control

In 2022, Ms. Wierzbicki was promoted to Senior Vice President of US/EU Mainstream Operations. In 2017, Ms. Wierzbicki assumed the role of Vice President, US/EU Mainstream Operations in addition to Global Production Control. Prior to this position, Debbie held various leadership roles, including Director of Corporate Production Control and Global Support, and Site Director of two California facilities – Milpitas and Sunnyvale. She has vast experience managing multiple high-level projects and was instrumental in developing and implementing critical corporate procedures and business practices across the global enterprise. Ms. Wierzbicki’s long history with the company has been invaluable to the organization  – her institutional knowledge of the company is without peer.
